First off congratulations on surviving the last couple of years!
WHEW! It was not easy!
Now, you've decided it's time to reward yourself with a trip. You get on the internet and type in "where should I vacation?" and BAM 2904029 options come up. The options, ideas, and tips seem to be endless, and overwhelm hits once again.
Hold up! That is not the point of vacations. This is supposed to be a reward not something else for you to stress about. You just found your first reason you need a travel agent. As a travel agent, it's our job to take that overwhelming stress and turn it back into an enjoyable experience. In just a few questions, we are off to plan you an epic adventure that all you have to do is show up an enjoy! That sounds a lot better doesn't it?
Your travel agent is going to do all of the research for you, finding that Instagram worthy resort, that bucket list itinerary, or that family trip you have been promising the kids for years you would go on.
Travel agents have a vast amount of suppliers they can sort through to find you the best deal, the most convenient schedules, and add on options you wouldn't even know existed. You just found your second reason you need a travel agent. Could you imagine having to catch a bus from the airport to your hotel while every time it takes a turn your wheely suitcase takes off and you have to catch it before it finds someone's shins? A literal worst nightmare. Your travel agent could have you a private transfer booked, arriving comfortably and beginning your vacation stress free.
Now that you are on your trip, of course something has gone wrong, because that man's law or whatever they call it. You start scrambling calling the airlines, the hotel, the tour guides, explaining your situation over and over again. You just found your third reason you need a travel agent. All you have to do is make one phone call to your travel agent, go find an overpriced lounge to sit in and let them get to work.
A good travel agent will make sure that you have insurance built into your trip, which will immediately take the financial stress of any travel hiccups you might encounter. Can you guess what that was? Yep, your fourth reason you need a travel agent. When booking your trip, they can set you up with an insurance company through their trusted suppliers, that will make sure your trip is insured including pre, during, and post vacation.
Now the best part last. Using a travel agent is budget friendly. They have access to get your trips booked with minimal deposit amounts, payment plans, and they keep track of your progress in paying. I have forgotten to pay my electricity bill, something that literally keeps the lights on, so knowing you have someone who gets to keep track of it all for you, is just another stress relieving perk.
So, when you decide it's time to take that much needed vacation, make sure you get with your local travel agent and book with them!
